The New Zealand Industry Awards are the biggest business and creative awards on the Hairdressing calendar, and we were super excited to be named as one of the five finalists for New Zealand’s Hair Salon of the year 2019/2020. This has been a massive achievement in our 2nd year of business, so the whole team flew to Wellington for the awards at Te Papa on Sunday the 10th of November to celebrate the best in our industry.

Glamour Hair Boutique has been selected as a GHD Elite Hair Salon for New Zealand. The top salons have been selected across New Zealand and Australia to educate, inspire and trial new and innovative ideas, that are due to be arriving to the market in coming months. At Glamour we will always have the new products before anyone else and have the opportunity to trial innovations created by GHD. Kylie is also one of the 10-strong New Zealand squad of top stylist along with a team of 20 from Australia to be the “ANZ STYLE SQUAD” this is an amazing learning and development opportunity with the industry’s best styling brand GHD and their artistic team. Kylie brings us new ideas, trends, tools and exciting styling events.

At Glamour Hair Boutique we understand the importance of building our future generation of top hairdressers and we believe that a salon hairdressing apprenticeship is the best way to become a qualified hairdresser.

To complete an apprenticeship, you enter into a formal training agreement with Glamour Hair Boutique which is a salon that is qualified to train apprentices and with this you work, learn and earn. As well as weekly in-salon training and daily learning you’ll also attend off-site job training with a training provider in Auckland.
