Now that we have identified your face shape, let’s see what styles are best suited for you.
Round: Avoid cuts that add width around the face e.g., jaw length and solid bobs. Good options are layered textured lob (a bob – where its length is just above the shoulders. Long and straight with long layers (frames your face without exaggerating the width) or a nice lose curl/wave without too much volume, possibly starting before the jaw.
Diamond: Medium to chin length hair super flattering on a diamond shaped face. Avoid very layered haircuts as well as short/pixie cuts. Shorter haircuts do not balance out this face shape.
Heart: Bobs or short fun pixie cuts look great. Shoulder length hair also works really well. Added layers and texture complements this face shape. The main goal for people with the face shape is to frame their face well.
Oval: More solid, blunt bobs or lobs with subtle soft layers. You can be quite versatile as this face shape suits most hair styles.
Square: Middle parts are good as they open the centre of the face and draw attention away from the jaw line. Long lengths with waves from ears down. Bobs that sit right around the chin sit beautifully. Also well suited to textured lobs.
